Whenever I look back

12316When I’m really old, I hope to look back at my life and know that I:

…lived a complete life full of ups and downs

…have been tested but never punished

….have been loved by many – family and friends

…have raised two beautiful human beings

…have made a difference to someone’s life

…have given back the goodwill to society

…have made my contribution to the world

…have hopefully no regrets

Whenever I hit a roadblock,  I have relied on the wishes of the almighty thinking he surely has a better plan for me which I have not even seen yet

And thank you God for that!

After writing the above,  I also realized that what I want to look back at is not my materialistic achievements at all, but my emotional and spiritual achievements.

Thanks for the prompt to help me realize this.
