Dia was furiously texting someone on her smartphone.
‘Dia, you should not be checking your social apps on a holiday! The world will go on and everyone will be alive when you get back. Just switch off your phone,’ said an exasperated Sameer.
‘Please Sameer, let me just check out Facebook,’ said Dia without looking up.
Dia will check Facebook, Gmail, then Hotmail, then Instagram, Pinterest and then Facebook again. And if all this is done, then Whatsapp which is overflowing with messages. The phone was buzzing away happily.
During their outings, she will take pictures, then send it on Instagram. Then she will wait for the likes and comments.
‘Ok. In thirty minutes, we will be going sightseeing,’ declared Sameer.
As soon as Dia, went to get ready, Sameer switched off her phone and hid it.
When Dia came back all ready for the outing, she began searching for the phone.
‘Sameer, tell me where is the phone? I am sure you have done something.’ She began looking at all nooks and crannies.
‘You will get the phone, but when we go back home. Anybody who wants to reach you urgently, can call on my cell. Come, lets go.’
