The hiding place #FridayFictioneers

‘Everyone please stand in a line while we inspect you?’

Tim looked uncomfortable.  He had nicked a necklace from a rich lady at the ball.

She had raised a ruckus over it.  What is one necklace in a collection of 100?  Tim sought to hide the precious necklace and looked for hiding places. He then threw it up on the chandelier and hoped nobody looked up.

He cleared his inspection and then lingered around for the people to leave.

Feeling conspicuous, he hid in one of the adjacent rooms.

But to his horror,  someone locked the room from the outside.

  1. LOL! This better have a sequel!
I hope he had something to eat at the ball. Sleep is difficult to come by on an empty stomach. 😀

  2. I get a great visual from your story. Nice writing. I’m sweating bullets wondering if the necklace is going to plop down from it’s hiding place! 😉
