Of Potions and Love #FridayFictioneers

Nayan wiped the sweat off his brow for the fifth time, but he was still feeling hot.  It had nothing to do with the weather which was rather pleasant.  His friend had said, the potion worked.  Nayan should get Roja to consume it.  And then, she will look at nobody but Nayan.  The thought made him bolder.

The shopkeeper was watching Nayan.  He came near him and asked in a whisper, ‘Don’t be afraid, sir.  Do you want the love potion?’

Nayan replied in a whisper, ‘Yes’.

‘Perpetual love or Immediate love?’

‘Immediate,’  Nayan grinned.

‘That will be 1000 Rupees extra.’

  1. Hehehehehehehe.. This reminds me of Ginny and Hermione checking out the Love Potion section at the Weasley Wizards Wheezes! 😀

Nice and true story.. It’s easier to gain someone’s love over the years than to just gain it in a few minutes or days! 🙂

  2. That shopkeeper knows how to get rich. And immediate is just vague enough to have it ‘passed already’ when it doesn’t work. Good story. I hope the woman who’s supposed to drink it kicks him in the shins.

    1. It’s perpetually immediate.. or immediately perpetual.. brrr.. I am confused too.
      Thank you!

    1. Uhmm. If he cannot wait for love to blossom, I dont think he will stick around for long lasting love. Thanks!

    1. Well, Silly young men will always be gullible. The shopkeeper is the winner here 🙂 Thanks Rochelle.

    1. Sreesha we can write a story on what happened after Nayan consumed the potion!! that would be a fun episode.

    1. Calling lust ‘love’ will make Nayan feel better about it. He was already quite uncomfortable. Thanks for stopping by.
