If we were having coffee : Nov 8 #weekendcoffeeshare

20151108_113317If we were having coffee,  I would tell you all to welcome home for Diwali.  Let us light the diyas,  put up the lights,  the lantern, help me draw the rangoli and have a good time.

The children’s exams are over and they are trying to make the most of the three-week school holidays.  My parents have come for a visit and I want to spend all my time with them.  The summer is turning to winter for us and the weather is just perfect for an outing.  To enjoy all this,  I have also taken a couple of days off from work.   So, drop in anytime for the Diwali sweets.

If we were having coffee,  I would tell you that my #NaBloPoMo is going good so far.  I have been able to blog on all the days till now.  Compared to the AtoZ challenge which was very overwhelming for me,  this time I put in some planning.   So,  the first thing I do after starting the laptop is to write my post,  so there are no distractions and I can get it off my head.  I have also been planning the daily posts which is really good old time management.  I am taking inspiration from a lot of different blogs like writetribe.com, nablopomo prompts, weekly prompts like this #weekendcoffeeshare.   I also started on a serial post called Life of Ki to be published twice or thrice (still deciding on it) a week.   I am planning to put in a humorous twist to it.  So check it out sometime.  I am also putting in a post with some of my pictures.   Saturdays are reserved for Book Reviews.  Let me dig some code and see if I can put up a schedule on the blog sidebar.

Till then,  Wish you all a very Happy Diwali! Stay happy,  stay safe.

  1. I hope Mumbai has cooled down too ahead of the Diwali vacation. Have a great season and enjoy your parents’ visit.
Seems like you’re all sorted for this challenge, unlike me. I’m catching up. Hopefully this week will be less frentic!

  2. Happy Diwali to you and your family! Yes – Diwali is time for family, food and fun 🙂 Have a good one.
If we were having coffee, I would say that I am not liking being alone this Diwali 🙁 But that’s life. That’s how it goes!
