O is for Offo #AtoZChallenge

Folks,  check out these fellow bloggers on A to Z – The Journey Of a Rolling Stone  is writing short stories on a cute little five year old girl – Misry and  Between You and Me is writing poems based on Mythological Characters.

Meanwhile, read another slice of life about Dia and Sameer.

O‘I used to think you had them in pink colors.  They look pretty,’  Sameer said referring to Dia’s strappy sandals.

Dia paused.  ‘They are pretty,  isn’t it?  I have them in pink also.’

Sameer was taken aback.  After all,  who will buy two pairs of same sandals with different colors?

‘Why didn’t you buy two designs?’

‘Ummm.. they were pretty and I didn’t have the heart to let go.’

A few days later,  Sameer noticed Dia in a beautiful  peach summer dress.  She looked radiant in it and he complimented her.

‘You think so.  I have the same dress in blue also.  Do you think that one will also look good?’

‘Offo’, Sameer gave up exasperated.

**This has been written for the A to Z Challenge 2016. My theme is A to Z in the life of Dia and Sameer, a geek and non-geek couple.  Short stories on their approach to daily life.  Do you know people like them?  Do share the stories with me. ***

The characters Dia and Sameer are fully imaginary.  Any likeness to people is purely coincidental.   The views are the characters’ own and light-hearted.  They are not endorsements.

  1. When I read the title, I thought it would be somehow related to the “offo” song from 2 States. Thank goodness you didn’t post about that! 😀

Dia is quite right. Why not have two of the same thing? *cheers Dia*
And yes, I have three mobile covers with the same design, just different colours 😛

  2. Hahah Loved it. Dia is so much from Venus and sameer from Mars. Love the pair. Cute story again. And thank you so much for Mentioning my blog too. God bless you.

  3. Wow! I can never repeat a design no matter how much I love it. I loved Sameer for remembering what all Dia wears 🙂
This series has come along really well.
    Well done Lata 🙂

  4. I am kinda like Diya I think! If I love a color, I cannot just let it go….I know its pretty silly, but ‘offo, kya karen?’ Thanks for making me smile everyday with Sameer and Dia’s tales 🙂
